Tenure-track faculty position available August 16, 2013.

Responsibilities: teaching courses in the following areas--fundamentals of network design, systems administration, electronic communication administration, alternative PC operating systems, internetwork design and administration, infrastructure services, internetwork switching, and capstone in computer technology; scholarly activity; working cooperatively with faculty and staff to foster curriculum implementation, assessment, and improvement.

Minimum qualifications: doctorate in computer technology or related field; record of successful teaching in secondary and/or higher education; relevant professional experience in computer technology; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work cooperatively and interact effectively with faculty and staff to contribute to the strategic plan for the department, college, and university.

Preferred qualifications: significant professional experience in computer technology and higher education; evidence of scholarship through publications, presentations, and successful grant proposals; successful involvement with professional organizations in the discipline; Cisco and/or Microsoft certification.
